When I turned on social media Sunday-today I am amazed at the hatred that is being spewed by Representative Maxine Waters. Her comments over the weekend were uncalled for.
This sounds like Maxine Waters and possibly the Democratic Party want to bring about segregation of an Administration and leaders that were elected by the People of this nation. The People of the United States are who the House and Senate work for and I think that this has been forgotten by many of our elected leaders. However, all of this fighting and blaming continues to divide our nation and brings us closer to the brink of a Civil War.
We must be willing to set our differences aside. That doesn’t mean that we have to agree on everything. It doesn’t mean that we can’t discuss news or issues of importance. It means that we all (no matter what our party affiliation is) need to unite as one people because it is the only way to keep this great nation in tact. A nation divided can’t stand. We must not allow anyone despite the power they hold to bring further division to this nation. We need to bring respect and civility back to this country. Only love can shine a light on the hate that is continuously being spewed.
I am praying that our great nation can come together as one people under a loving and gracious God. Only God can heal the wounds and divisions in this nation. A verse I clung to during the 2016 campaign was
So the question of the hour to Maxine Waters is where are Trump supporters allowed to go? Because you don’t agree with us and because your candidate lost you continue to spread divisive hate against Republicans, Conservatives, members of the Trump administration and their families. Now, Maxine Waters wants to say she is calling for peaceful protest. What is peaceful about “pushing back on them and telling them you’re not welcome here anymore?”She said all Trump administration officials should not be allowed anywhere in public.“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome any more, anywhere,” she told the cheering crowd.

“if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”It is time for our nation to humble ourselves to God and repent of the sinful acts we have committed and ask for Him to forgive us for these sins. It is time we seek His will for our nation and people. As Ronald Regan once said without God the United States is a nation going under. We can’t ask for God to bless us when we aren’t seeking Him. How can He bless or keep us safe when He is removed from schools, our capitol, and so on? We either are one nation united under God or we aren’t. We can’t have it both ways though.
